Mercedes-Benz C-Class Leasing

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is probably the most widely recognised compact executive car. It’s a smart-looking, high-grade cruiser which has been a bestseller in its class for many years. Finding itself up against some seriously good premium competition – including the BMW 3 Series, Jaguar XE and Audi A4 – it remains one of the best cars if you’re looking to lease a saloon that's sporty and sophisticated. The 5th-generation version arrived in 2021, in order to keep the C-Class fresh in its tough sector of the market. Drive yours with our latest Mercedes C-Class lease deals available now.

Available as a plug-in hybrid with very low emissions.

  • The boot in the C-Class is a little smaller than some of its competitors, but there’s enough space for several suitcases. The plug-in hybrid models – with their batteries stored between the rear wheels – do eat into the boot space somewhat, though the rear seats can fold down to provide more storage if required.

The Estate, meanwhile, has a very decent 490-litre boot, which grows to 1,510 litres with the seats folded down. That’s the same as the BMW 3 Series and only 30 litres shy of the Audi A4.

Interior storage includes door bins, as well as various cubbyholes in the dashboard. The glovebox is quite big and there are 2 cupholders in the rear armrest.

  • With engines ranging from 1.5 to 2.0 litres in capacity, the latest C-Class powerplants will offer improved fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions. The smaller petrol engine can be ordered in either 170- or 204hp form, while the 2-litre unit generates an impressive 258hp. Depending on size and power output, these petrol engines will average between 36-46mpg and emit between 141- and 180g/km of CO2.

The latest diesels – all 2-litre versions – generate either 163-, 200- or 265hp and can achieve up to 57.6mpg.

A new plug-in hybrid C300e will join the range, bringing with it a seriously impressive electric-only range of 62 miles thanks to a bigger 25.4kWh battery pack. The hybrid combines its 129hp electric motor with a not-sluggish 204hp petrol engine, so its combined 308hp promises to make it genuinely quick. It can run in electric-only mode at speeds up to 87mph and will charge in 30 minutes on a rapid charger.

Compare Your Mercedes C-Class Lease

Operating in a competitive space, it’s fair to say the Mercedes-Benz C-Class has never had it easy. The BMW 3 Series has, for many, been the default choice. And more recently, the Audi A4 has also become a real competitor. For more environmentally conscious drivers, there’s Tesla Model 3 leasing, which combines high performance with a zero-emissions electric drivetrain.

  • With 360 litres of space, the Saloon’s boot is a little smaller than its rivals, but you can opt for a C-Class Estate lease if you need more space - up to 1,510 litres.

  • There are 3 trim levels available to lease, these being SE, Sport and then AMG Line.

  • All models are fitted with parking sensors as standard.

  • When the 190E, the ‘Baby Benz’, was launched in the 1980s, it was an instant hit – offering Mercedes’ luxury and quality at a much lower price. Today, the C-Class continues that tradition, looking like a micro-version of the range-topping S-Class and making it one of the most popular cars to lease at this level.

  • If you’re looking for a Mercedes C-Class lease, rest assured you’ll get the best deal here at Vanarama.
