Why Lease A Boxer?
The Peugeot Boxer is best known for its lengthy loading bay & low running costs. This large van is also loaded with practical features in the cabin that make it perfect for use as a mobile office as well as a tradesman's favourite. From a clipboard to cubbies, this Peugeot van puts your needs first.
Peugeot Boxer Specifications & Dimensions
Pick the Peugeot Boxer & you’ll be spoilt for choice - in van form there’s 3 lengths, 3 heights, 1 trim level & 2 engine outputs. There's also the all-electric e-Boxer with a range of over 200 miles.
Let’s start with your choice of body styles…
Panel Van - A firm favourite when it comes to business. It’s no wonder all types of tradespeople favour this style - it’s got the highest payload & loading volume from its body range. In its top form, the panel van will give you a 1570kg payload (or even 1865kg if you go for the 4005kg GVM version) & a 17 cubic metre loading volume.
Available in a range of lengths and roof heights: L1H1, L2H1, L2H2, L3H2, L3H3. at 3500kg GVM, and L4H2 and L4H3 at 4005kg GVM.
Peugeot Boxer Interior & Trim
Although Peugeot now offers just a single trim level for the Boxer, this doesn’t mean that the van is sparsely equipped – far from it. The Professional Premium + includes all the following as standard:
- Air Conditioning
- 7-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation and Apple/Android smartphone integration
- Rear parking sensors
- Cruise control
- Alarm and deadlocks
Fuel Economy & Emissions
The 2.2-litre diesel engine fitted to the Boxer is available in two power outputs, 140HP and 165HP, more than enough for the majority of van operators. Peugeot quotes the same fuel consumption figures for both engines, the WLTP Combined cycle returning between 25.6mpg and 40,1mpg. Co2 emissions range between 219 and 289g/km.
Both engines are equipped with a manual 6-speed gearbox & Stop Start function. If you opt for the all electric E-Boxer, you’ll find that the 120HP motor, powered by a 75kWh battery could, according to the official Combined test cycle get you up to 154 miles before needing recharging (subject to load and driving conditions).
Boxer Vs Competitors
If you’re familiar with the Citroen Relay and Fiat Ducato, you’ll notice that the Peugeot Boxer is almost a carbon copy of these popular large vans. This wasn't by accident - the vans platform share & are built by the Stellantis comprising Citroen, Fiat, Peugeot & Vauxhall.
The Stellantis Group often uses the same chassis across the automotive brands to manufacture small, medium or large vans. Alongside the Citroen Relay, other contenders competing with the Peugeot Boxer include; Vauxhall Movano, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Ford Transit, Renault Master, Nissan Interstar & VW Crafter.
Peugeot Boxer Finance
How much does it cost to lease a Peugeot Boxer?
Our Price Promise guarantees that you’ll get the very best leasing price, but if you do find a cheaper quote elsewhere, we’ll give you £100.
We can also guarantee that vehicle depreciation is something you don't have to worry about when you lease. Depreciation means how much a vehicle will be worth after a certain length of time - decreasing as you drive it. If you buy a vehicle, it’s likely you’ll have to sell it for less. But if you lease, you don't need to worry about selling your vehicle at a resale price because depreciation costs will be factored into your monthly rentals.
