Why Lease A Fiat Scudo?

Scudo isn’t a new name, but it is the name Fiat have given to their new medium van - the Scudo. It’s now competing directly with the Renault Trafic, Ford Transit Custom, Mercedes-Benz Vito and Volkswagen Transporter, to name but a few medium vans.

Although the Scudo is a new face, the van is already well proven as it uses the same platform as the Vauxhall Vivaro and other Stellantis brands - vans that have found favour with both small businesses and fleets. It’s available in a choice of two lengths, ‘Standard’ or ‘Maxi’, and two weights. If you need to carry more passengers but still want plenty of loadspace, the Fiat Scudo Crew Van is a great option. And for specialist conversions you can even get a Scudo as a platform cab. With payloads of up to 1446kg, the Scudo can carry more weight than some far larger vans. Find your perfect Fiat Scudo model today or browse all our latest vans to lease available online.

Why Leasing?

If you’re looking for a new hassle-free medium van to lease, a Fiat Scudo is the perfect option for you. You’ll drive away in a new van, paying affordable fixed monthly payments with no hidden costs or fees. You can choose to pay a lower initial rental payment for your Fiat lease, making it easier to access a new van rather than saving up a lump sum. You’ll decide your contract length, annual mileage, and model, so you can tailor your deal to exactly what you need. Servicing and maintenance can also be added to your plan as an optional extra. Plus, you don’t need to worry about depreciation and selling your van for a lower cost – just hand the vehicle back to us and potentially get an even newer van on another deal.

Don't settle for used, lease a brand-new Fiat Scudo medium van today. If you're new to leasing and would like to know more, take a look at our easy to understand van leasing guides.

Scudo Specifications & Dimensions

The Fiat Scudo is available with a great choice of engines. The 1.5-litre diesel engines are available in outputs of either 102hp or 120hp, or if you need more oomph the 2.0-litre unit can be specified at 145hp or 177hp. There’s also the option of an automatic gearbox.

If you're looking to lease an electric van with zero emissions, the Fiat E-Scudo is powered by a 136hp electric motor, and you’ve a choice of either a 50kWh or 75kWh battery pack, with the largest providing a range of up to 205 miles between charges.

If you need your new medium van to take a decent load, then the Fiat Scudo definitely provides it. Even if you opt for the Standard van, it’ll take a load 2512mm long and up to 1628mm wide. Combine this with a height of 1397mm and you’ve a whole 5.3 cubic metres to play with. If you need bigger, the Maxi will cope with a length of 2862mm increasing the load volume to 6.1 cubic metres and accommodate up to 3 Euro pallets. Twin side loading doors are also standard on every Scudo.

There are some great payloads on offer across the range from 1000kg right up to 1446kg. And if you need to tow, some models can pull a braked trailer weighing up to 2500kg! The all-electric E-Scudo has a payload capacity of up to 1226kg and, unlike some electric vans, is permitted to tow a generous limit of 1000kg.

Fiat Scudo Trim

The Fiat Scudo is available in a choice of three trim levels, ‘SX’, ‘Tecnico’ and ‘Business’. Even the SX comes with cruise control and a DAB radio, and you’ll get air conditioning with the Tecnico together with the ‘Moduwork’ multi-purpose dual passenger seat and load through bulkhead.

For the ultimate Scudo, choose the ‘Business’ trim level with its 7-inch touchscreen (including smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Fiat Connect Nav). The Scudo at ‘Business’ level also includes a ‘Look Pack’, enhancing the van’s exterior with body-coloured bumpers, side rubbing strips and door handles. Metallic paint is also included.

Depending on trim and options selected, your new Fiat Scudo could include driver assistance and safety features such as a rear-view camera, traffic signal recognition, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, side blind spot alert and automatic emergency braking.

Be sure to take a look at the vehicle’s specification list to confirm which options your new Fiat Scudo comes with.

Fiat Scudo Fuel Economy & Emissions

Depending on the specification and engine, the Fiat Scudo has official WLTP fuel consumption figures ranging from 38.7mpg to 44.8 mpg. CO2 emissions are from 166g/km to 192g/km (or zero if you opt for the E-Scudo).

What Other Vans Does The Scudo Compete With?

Being a medium van, the Fiat Scudo competes with a variety of vehicles, including some big names - primarily the Ford Transit Custom, Volkswagen Transporter, Mercedes-Benz Vito, Nissan Primastar and the other Stellantis brand medium vans (Citroen Dispatch, Peugeot Expert, and Vauxhall Vivaro).
