Our expert Rob answered... Contract hire is one of our most popular contracts, due to the low deposit options, fixed cost motoring, steady cash flow and no risk of depreciation. All our vehicles are new vehicles and come with the standard manufacturer's warranty typically between 3 & 5 years depending on the manufacturer. If you have any issues with the vehicle in the warranty period this will often be covered by the manufacturer but we always recommend checking this before the vehicle is booked in with the dealer. With contract hire, you have the option to include a maintenance package for an additional low monthly fee. This will cover you for tyres, routine maintenance, servicing and any MOT that falls within the contract duration.
Our expert Mike answered... If your vehicle continuously breaks down, then for the first 3 years, you will be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. In this situation, subject to availability, the dealer in question will be able to offer you a loan vehicle while your vehicle is off the road. During this situation, if you require any further assistance, our customer support team will be more than happy to help and support you.
Our expert Richard answered... Yes, that's correct. The MOT on all new vehicles is not required until the 3rd year.
Servicing and maintenance is not part of a standard contract, but we are able to offer you a package which is called Service Plus. This will cover you for all routine services, mechanical repairs, replacement tires, MOT if required & also replacement brakes, wiper blades, and bulbs which will be subject to fair wear and tear. The additional cost will depend on the annual mileage you are doing and also how long you decide to take the contract over.
Our expert Joanne answered... You will still need to pay the monthly payment, however because the vehicle is in warranty, we are able to approach the manufacturer for alternative transport.
Our expert Richard answered... Other than fuel, this should be all you need to pay for. However, you may want to add maintenance.
Service Plus is an optional maintenance package but if you decide to take out Service Plus then we will maintain the vehicle for the duration of the term. The cost shown on the quotation will include all servicing, MOTs, replacement tyres and much more. Our package is slightly different to our competitors because we have mobile tyre and servicing engineers who can, if available, come out and service your vehicle on site while you work.
