All 5 back seats are individual chairs and they’re relatively light, so it’s easy to alter the Multivan’s configuration. Remove them completely and there’s a vast van-like cargo area, albeit one with a carpet and high-grade plastics. The sliding side doors are power-assisted on high-spec versions and the massive top-hinged tailgate can also be power assisted, which takes a lot of strain out of opening and closing it. If you need more space, then there’s a long body version of the Multivan.
Cabin storage is as impressive as the space on offer, with lots of cubbies dotted around. The movable centre console/table has 4 cupholders and large drawers, while the dashboard has a big lower glovebox with another lidded cubby above it. The front doors have deep bins and smaller trays below the door pulls, there’s a fold-out twin cupholder beneath the central air vents and the 5 rear seats all have storage space beneath them. Charging devices is easy, too, with 6 USB-C sockets dotted around the cabin.
