Porsche Cayenne Lease Deals

The Porsche Cayenne is the ultimate driver’s SUV. Porsche has used all its sports car know-how to create a big 4x4 that drives as well as a hot hatchback. But while it might put the ‘sports’ in ‘sports utility vehicle’, the Cayenne isn’t just an oversized Porsche 911. It’s a beautifully built, hugely practical family car with plenty of luxury touches, putting it high on the list of the best premium SUVs you can lease.

Porsche Cayenne Top Features

Brilliant to drive.

Build quality is second-to-none.

Range of powerful engines.

  • The Cayenne is big – it’s 4.9 metres long and almost 2 metres wide – so there’s plenty of space inside. The boot measures 770 litres for the standard SUV, and the Coupe has a 625-litre load space. The E-Hybrid versions cut those figures by 125 litres, but they’re still very roomy. You won’t have any trouble fitting in a week’s shopping or enough luggage for a week away.

Further forward, you’ll find plenty of room in the front and ample rear passenger space. Even the Coupe offers enough headroom for all but the very tallest adults. As long as you’re under about 6ft 4in, you’ll be fine. However, families in search of a 7-seat SUV will have to look elsewhere. The Cayenne is only available with 5 seats, so you only have the 3 rear seats to play with.

  • Although Porsche no longer makes a diesel Cayenne, it still caters to all tastes. Those looking for performance can have a V6 or V8 petrol engine, while plug-in hybrid versions are available for those who want low fuel consumption and low emissions. The standard Cayenne will manage between 22.6 and 24.6mpg on the official economy test, while the Turbo will manage between 20 and 20.9mpg.

But if you choose a hybrid, the figures shoot up. With around 20-odd miles of all-electric range, the E-Hybrid and Turbo S E-Hybrid will both cut fuel bills – particularly if you do lots of short trips. On paper, the E-Hybrid does between 76.3 and 91.1mpg, while the Turbo S E-Hybrid manages 68.9 to 74.3mpg. If you’re leasing a Cayenne as a company car, it’s emissions that matter. The E-Hybrid is the model of choice, producing between 71 and 83g/km of carbon dioxide. That’s sure to keep your tax bill in check.

Every Cayenne comes with lots of equipment as standard. Even the entry-level cars get the huge touchscreen, some digital instrument dials and a reversing camera. Heated seats are also included, along with part-leather upholstery, and the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration systems.

The Porsche Cayenne Vs Competitors

The Cayenne is up against some big, well-known names in the luxury SUV sector. Its biggest rival is the Range Rover Sport, which is popular for its high-end image, rugged good looks and off-road capability.

The 7-seat Audi Q7, which majors on space and technology, is also a thorn in the Cayenne’s side, as is the BMW X5 – one of few cars that get close to the Cayenne in terms of dynamics.

If you want something a little less conventional, the Volvo XC90 is a big and unapologetically comfortable family car, while the Mercedes-Benz GLE is an equally chunky and stylish alternative.

  • Yes. Porsche has a great reputation for reliability and the Cayenne is as dependable as they come. All the gadgets are tried and tested, and the mechanical components are sound. You get a decent warranty as standard, but you probably won’t need it.

  • That depends whether you go for the Cayenne or the Cayenne Coupe. The standard Cayenne SUV has a massive 770-litre boot, while the Cayenne Coupe’s raking roofline cuts that figure to 625 litres. No matter which you choose, you’ll have plenty of room to carry your belongings, although it’s worth noting that hybrid models lose 125 litres of boot space to the hybrid set-up underneath.

  • Leasing a Porsche Cayenne gives you a choice of 6 different versions, each of which comes with its own powertrain. The standard V6 petrol-powered Cayenne is joined by the S, the GTS and the Turbo, while the E-Hybrid slots in below the S and the Turbo S E-Hybrid crowns the range.

  • Yes, front and rear parking sensors are standard on every version of the Cayenne. A reversing camera is also included as standard, while a 360-degree ‘Around View’ camera system is available, giving you a bird’s-eye view of the car and its surroundings.

  • How practical you find the Cayenne will depend on what you’re after. The Porsche is only available with 5 seats, so some might prefer to choose the 7-seat Audi Q7 or Volvo XC90 rivals. But the Cayenne will seat 5 adults in perfect comfort. And all their stuff can come along too, thanks to the massive boot.

  • Porsche’s flagship SUV has been a huge success. So much so that Porsche now builds more SUVs than sports cars. That’s because leasing customers love the build quality, practicality and driving experience, as well as the onboard technology and the exotic feel of the Porsche badge. In our view, it’s the best luxury 4x4 you can lease.

  • Leasing a Porsche Cayenne with Vanarama is the smartest way to upgrade your car. You can get the best price, guaranteed, while there’s also no hidden fees. You can add on servicing and maintenance packages too if you wanted them, fully customising your deal to suit your personal needs and situation. We’re rated Excellent on Trustpilot and our team of experts can help you find your ideal car leasing deal today.
