Mercedes-Benz V-Class Lease Deals

Finding a car which is both luxurious and spacious enough to fit up to 8 people is a tall order indeed – but it’s one that Mercedes-Benz is able to fulfil with its V-Class MPV. The V-Class exudes style while also being understated, coming packed with all the high-quality features you’d expect from a Mercedes. Nothing else on the market really comes close. It’s the automotive equivalent of a sharp business suit – just with extra pockets.

  • The V-Class is a supremely practical vehicle and offers a number of seating configurations. The 7-seat package has 2 captain’s chairs in the 2nd row, separated by a centre console on the EQV models. The 8-seaters have a 3-seat configuration for both rear rows – these include rear-seat air conditioning, and cupholders and small storage areas located conveniently around the cabin. Accessing the interior is easy, thanks to the large sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle.

The Marco Polo is a 4-seater and the rear row can slide along the length of the cabin to be converted into a double bed. There is a smartly integrated kitchenette with 2 gas hobs, a sink, and storage areas for cutlery and food. The front seats can both swivel to face the rear and there is a stowable dining table as well.

The boot capacity is between 1030 and 1410 litres, depending on whether you choose the long- or extra-long-wheelbase model. With the seats folded, you get a massive 4630 to 5010 of loading space, because the V-Class is essentially a van with seats/living quarters. And the large rear tailgate and low loading lip make packing the V-Class a breeze.

  • Thanks to a range of efficient powerplants, the big and bulky V-Class doesn’t disappoint when it comes to fuel efficiency. Both diesels offer between 36- and 37mpg on average, so there’s no real penalty for going for the more powerful one. The less potent VW Caravelle is slightly less efficient in every configuration.

The all-electric EQV looks to be even more economical to run, offering up to 213 miles on a charge. It can be charged from 10-80% in just 45 minutes on a 110kW public charger. The benefit-in-kind (BIK) tax rate is also just 1%, as opposed to the 37% of the diesels – but remember that the leasing costs are higher for the electric model.

Mercedes-Benz V-Class MPV

All V-Classes come in a standard MPV body style, with sliding doors on each side and a large rear hatch. They can seat either 7 or 8 occupants (or 4 for the Marco Polo) and are offered with either diesel or electric powerplants. Long- and extra-long-wheelbase models are available. And all are automatics, with rear-wheel drive for the internal-combustion models and front-wheel drive for the zero-emission EQV.

Mercedes-Benz V-Class Trim Levels

Sport (diesel and electric) Marco Polo Sport (diesel only) Sport Premium (electric only) Sport Premium Plus (electric only) Marco Polo AMG Line (diesel only) AMG Line (diesel only)

The base Sport trim already comes packed with features. As standard you get 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, a panoramic glass sunroof (long-wheelbase only), Nappa leather seats, driver assist features and a 10.25-inch infotainment system.

EQV Sport models differ somewhat as they get 17-inch alloy wheels, comfort suspension, LED taillights and subtle design changes.

Marco Polo Sport variants have 18-inch alloy wheels as standard, an electric pop-up roof, single electric side door, and of course the full kitchenette and convertible seating in the rear.

Only the diesel V-Class can be had in the extra-long-wheelbase layout.

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class Vs Competitors

The MPV segment tends to focus on practicality rather than luxury, and this is what sets the V-Class apart from its rivals.

The Ford Tourneo Connect is competent but offers less space, pace and luxury. The Volkswagen Caravelle is solidly built and can also be had in a camping-spec California trim, but the Mercedes-Benz V-Class is an altogether more premium product with a matching premium leasing cost.

Even the largest 7-seat SUVs fall short in terms of interior space and practicality – and not many can be had as a pure EV either. In the final reckoning, there really isn’t anything out there that matches this luxurious and practical vehicle. It’s the Mercedes of MPVs, after all.

  • Mercedes is known for building reliable vehicles and the V-Class is based on rugged underpinnings. This latest generation model has been largely trouble-free and every V-Class comes with a 3-year/unlimited-mileage warranty.

  • The boot capacity on offer varies between 1030 and 1410 litres, for the long- and extra-long-wheelbase models respectively. With the rear seats folded, this increases to 4630 and 5010 litres of loading space. Marco Polo models have a boot capacity of 670 litres.

  • There are 6 trims in total, but not all are available for every engine and wheelbase. We wouldn’t bother much with the AMG trims, as the base Sport already comes packed with what you need and it can help keep leasing costs in check.

  • Yes, every V-Class comes with parking sensors and a rear-view camera.

  • This MPV is as practical as you need it to be. From the camping-spec Marco Polo to the luxurious 8-seater trim, this is about as versatile as a vehicle gets. There are cupholders and handy storage spaces all over the cabin, and there’s plenty of leg- and headroom for all occupants.

  • It is based on a commercial van design, but the V-Class is most definitely not your typical van. It has luxurious interior fittings and the quality of the materials is comparable to any saloon or SUV in the Mercedes range. How many vans do you know that come with an AMG trim option?

  • Choose Vanarama for the best price on your Mercedes-Benz V-Class lease deal. We offer the best car leasing deals with our Price Promise including free delivery. We’re rated Excellent on Trustpilot and offer free 30-day returns in case you change your mind.
